This prompted the drug’s manufacturer, Pfizer, to issue an alert, which prompted a public advisory about the drug to the agency.
The plaintiff’s attorney, David B. Johnson, argued that the company should have known of the problems that led to his injury and his use of Viagra.
“Pfizer has made significant efforts to address the problem,” said B. J. Johnson, who represents the plaintiff’s attorneys. “They have been making substantial efforts to address the problem.”
The plaintiff has been unable to contact him to speak on his behalf, and has not been able to contact his attorney, who has represented the plaintiff’s lawyers and is an expert in Viagra.

Dr. Goger said that he has seen other men with erectile dysfunction who have not suffered any negative side effects. He said that he would consider the possibility that the plaintiff’s injury was related to his use of Viagra, since his injuries were “very rare and not that serious.”
He said that the plaintiff’s attorney, Dr. Goger, would be in favor of seeking a settlement. Goger, said he has never been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction.
